Career Office

The SLPA Career Office has been opened to facilitate students and graduates finding jobs that would meet their qualifications and aspirations, and it concentrates on assistance in a smooth passing from the education period to the stage of job searching.

The Career Office belongs to the All-Polish Network of Career Offices and implements, according to set standards, the network mission, helping the School students and graduates in a successful entrance into and effective operation on the labour market.

Based on the entry into the register of the Ministry of Economy and Labour, the Office acts as a career advising agency and a job agency as a job agent on the territory of the Republic of Poland.

The Career Office provides assistance concerning: selection of a professional career path, enhancement of qualifications related to moving about the labour market, making application documents, holiday visits abroad for education and earning money, gaining of the first professional experience during placements and volunteering, searching a job, and enhancing professional qualifications.

It is an organizer of trade events: labour fairs, meetings with employers and specialists operating on the labour market.

In agreement with psychologists and career advisers the SLPA Career Office organizes repeatedly training and workshops, during which it is possible to verify one’s interpersonal skills, to gain ability of active and flexible planning of professional career, to get knowledge and skills necessary to pass from the education period to the labour market, finding a job or starting own business.

Students have access to the constantly increasing collection of books, including items on moving around the labour market, organizing own job career or starting and running own business. Available are also free compendia on the latest news on the labour market and also other free publications helpful in searching a job.
